This is a black and white photo my dad took while he was stationed in Korea. I absolutly love this photo, it makes me realize just how many people there are in this world, and how diverse it really is. Its a wonderful picture.

This should be a daily deviation. Absolutely, in fact, DISGUSTINGLY good composure, exposure light contrast..oh man this is a wonderful picture. Too bad you dont have a scanner.

ya i know, i hate not having a scanner, but i am going to go to a friends house and use his scanner to scan in a bunch of stuff. I am really bad at taking pictures of pictures.

Thanks for the comment!

wow..this is amazing. I adore the rain..it makes me so happy. The rain and wind calm me down...thunderstorms calm me. I love the look she gives your dad as she passes him by, clutching her umbrella in close to her sholders like a turtle shell, rain bounceing off..

she looks as though she is asking.. 'what on earth are you doing here? get out of the rain! Get out of the flood! Go to shelter!'

Stunning....strait..from ..wow I would love to have been there in your dad's shoes. What an amazing memory.

I really like the atmosphere here, and the story behind this photo inspiring.

I can imgaine your father standing behind the lens and taking it. He perfectly caught her sight. I just love the way how she is walking in the water, and looking at your father probably in army uniform..

And please don't change it, the old frame gives nice effect though... :+fav:

I really love this. Like, a lot.

It's like there are several interesting stories to tell here, by a grandma or uncle or some older relative while sitting and drinking tea, passing the time. There's so much I want to know, about the place, the time, and the woman wading through the water--yet, it's perfect the way it is right now.

Brilliant..

This is a lovely photo, but it is a shame that you did not take it. It wouldn't seem fair (to me at least) to give a DD to someone who is not the original artist behind the work.
